Bead Books Provide Design Inspiration

The book "Beads" by Janet Coles and Robert Budwig is a wonderful overview of the history and culture surrounding beads. If you are interested in collecting vintage beads or would like to familiarize yourself with the different types of beads and how they are made, then you will enjoy this book. The book includes many projects as well as a wealth of inspiring photos.

After reading this book I became interested in African Trade beads. I collected a few and put this necklace together.
